Ana González Martínez
PhD Candidate
Ana González-Martínez is a PhD student supervised by Francisco Gallardo-del-Puerto and Evelyn Gandón-Chapela at the University of Cantabria. She holds an MA in Second Language Teaching and Learning (University of Cantabria, 2020). In April 2021 she was the recipient of the four-year pre-doctoral research grant “Concepción Arenal” from the University of Cantabria. At present, she holds a position as predoctoral researcher at the Department of Philology. Her PhD dissertation focuses on the acquisition of productive skills in CLIL and non-CLIL learning contexts.
Ana has also developed a research stay at the Department of English and American Studies of the University of Vienna (September-December 2022).
Her main research interests are second language acquisition in CLIL contexts, English vocabulary teaching and learning, and corpus linguistics.
